Terms of Service

Last updated: October 11, 2026

These are the terms for using Snugit (the app) and this website. They're written in plain language on purpose — Snugit is an independent, solo-built app, not a large company, and these terms reflect that. By downloading or using Snugit, you agree to them.

Acceptance of terms

By downloading, installing, or using Snugit, you agree to these terms. If you don't agree, the only request is that you don't use the app — there's nothing else to opt out of, since no account exists to decline.

The service

Snugit is an iOS app that lets you save links, notes, photos, and files, and find them again through search and pinning. It's provided for personal and professional organization, as-is, and is under active, ongoing development — features described on this site may change over time.

Eligibility

Snugit is intended for general audiences and doesn't collect personal information or require an account, so there's no minimum sign-up age for the app itself. If you're under the age required to consent to these terms in your country, use of the app should happen with a parent or guardian's awareness, same as any other app.

Acceptable use

You agree not to use Snugit to:

Your content

Whatever you save in Snugit — links, notes, photos, files — is yours. Snugit doesn't claim ownership of it, doesn't read it, and (as explained in the Privacy Policy) doesn't transmit it anywhere. You're solely responsible for what you choose to save and for backing up anything important — deleting the app or your device without a separate backup means that content is gone for good, since nothing is stored elsewhere.

Intellectual property

The Snugit name, logo, and the app's design and code (excluding your own saved content) belong to the developer of Snugit. These terms don't grant you any rights to use the Snugit name or branding for your own purposes.

Purchases and subscriptions

Snugit is free to download, with an optional Snugit Pro subscription (monthly or yearly) that unlocks unlimited items and folders. Payment is charged to your Apple ID when you confirm the purchase, or when a free trial ends. Subscriptions renew automatically unless you cancel at least 24 hours before the end of the current period, in your iPhone's Settings under your name, then Subscriptions. If you cancel during a free trial, you won't be charged.

Purchases are processed by Apple, and subscription status is verified through RevenueCat (see the Privacy Policy). They are subject to Apple's terms, billing and refund policies, including Apple's standard Licensed Application End User License Agreement, in addition to these terms. Refunds are handled by Apple at reportaproblem.apple.com, since Snugit never handles payment details directly.

No warranty

Snugit is provided "as is" and "as available," without warranties of any kind, express or implied — including, without limitation, implied warranties of merchantability, fitness for a particular purpose, and non-infringement. It's an independently built app, still in active development; bugs happen. Reporting one genuinely helps, but there's no guarantee of uninterrupted, timely, or error-free service.

Limitation of liability

To the fullest extent permitted by law, Snugit and its developer aren't liable for any indirect, incidental, special, consequential, or punitive damages arising from your use of (or inability to use) the app — including loss of data, loss of profits, or business interruption — even if advised of the possibility of such damages. Use Snugit for convenience, not as your only copy of anything irreplaceable.

Termination

You can stop using Snugit any time by deleting the app — there's no account to close since none is required. These terms remain in effect for as long as you use the app, and the sections that by their nature should survive (content ownership, warranty disclaimers, liability limits) continue to apply after you stop.

Changes to these terms

These terms may be updated as Snugit changes. Continuing to use the app or this website after an update means you accept the current version. Meaningful changes will move the "last updated" date above.

Governing law

These terms are governed by the laws applicable in the developer's home jurisdiction, without regard to conflict-of-law principles, to the extent your local law permits. If any provision here is found unenforceable, the rest of these terms remain in effect.
