Quick answer: Put boarding passes and tickets in Apple Wallet, add flights and check-ins to Calendar, and save everything else (confirmation numbers, addresses, door codes, booking PDFs) in one searchable place under the trip name. Keep offline copies of anything critical.
A single trip can spread across a dozen places: a flight confirmation in one inbox, a hotel booking in an app, a train ticket as a PDF, the apartment door code in a text from the host. At the airport, with a weak signal, you need all of it at once.
Step 1: Put passes in Wallet
Boarding passes and many event and train tickets can go into Apple Wallet. Look for an Add to Apple Wallet button in the airline's app or email. Wallet passes work offline and can show up on your Lock Screen at the right time. More on saving boarding passes.
Step 2: Put times in Calendar
Add each flight, check-in and booking as a calendar event, including the confirmation number in the notes. Calendar is good at "when." It's bad at holding PDFs and codes, which is why you need step 3.
Step 3: One place for everything else
Confirmation numbers, the hotel address, the door code, a PDF of the rental agreement, the link to the restaurant you booked: these need one home. Save each one the moment it arrives, and use the trip name in it ("Lisbon").
In Snugit, that's one tap from the share sheet in Mail, Messages, Safari or Files. At the airport, type "Lisbon" or "hotel" and it's all there.
Step 4: Make sure it works offline
Booking apps and email often need a connection to show details. Before you leave, save PDFs or screenshots of anything critical: tickets, insurance, the address of where you're staying. Files stored on your phone open without signal.
Step 5: Clean up after the trip
When you're home, delete the door codes and one-time bookings, and keep only what matters later: receipts for expenses, and anything you'd want for a return visit. It takes five minutes and keeps the next trip simple.
